From low tide to high mountain / Fra fjære til fjells / Fiervvás duoddarii
With a focus on textile art and the extraction of colors from plants on the shore and in the mountains, Britta Marakatt-Labba and Hilde Hauan invited artists on a hike to find plants, fungi, chives, bearded moss, kelp and kelp.
The workshop "Fra fjære til fjells / Fiervvás duoddarii" was initiated by the textile artists Britta Marakatt-Labba and Hilde Hauan. Together with 10 artists, they collected plants, dyed textiles and experimented with embroidery while they lived and worked closely together during the four days of the workshop.
The artists who participated in the workshop were Ingrid Solvik, Liilian Saksi, Linn Rebekka Åmo, Malfridur Adalsteinsdottir, Thale Blix Fastvold, Inga Skålnes & Eva Ballo, Michelle Jarvis, Bente V. Dankertsen and Pia Krabberød.
